Challenges Faced
Main challenge of this project was integrating eSCM 2.0 with existing systems posed a significant challenge, particularly because there was no all-in-one platform available. Users relied on a combination of manual processes and traditional manufacturing systems to complete their daily tasks. Furthermore, the sheer volume of data available in the platform often overwhelmed users, making it difficult for them to extract actionable insights. Users also expressed the need for efficient real-time order tracking capabilities.
Solutions
I focused on designing a simplified and intuitive interfaces that presented key metrics in a visually appealing manner, allowing users to focus on the most relevant information and improve their ability to make informed decisions. I also utilized prototypes for usability testing to refine the design, ultimately enhancing the user experience and making the platform more accessible. To allow users to monitor their orders in real time, regular updates and notifications were integrated into the system, keeping users informed about the status of their orders and enhancing overall transparency.
