SEB Intranet
SEB Intranet was a web-based system consisting of 16 modules. It served as an internal platform for main administrators, module administrators, and normal officers in the Structural Engineering Branch of the Architectural Services Department. The goal of this portal was to consolidate and rearrange the existing resources, as well as to support more automated and streamlined documentation that allowed different types of architectural-related documents to circulate among various groups and posts within the branch.

Challenges Faced
The main challenge of this project was on user search. Since this was a brand new platform and the existing resources were scattered, the process of gathering requirements was more complex than usual. Furthermore, the client used to perform daily tasks and manage documents manually, which led to inconsistencies across different divisions, as well as errors and miscommunication regarding user expectations in the early stage.
Solutions
While I was designing the platform, I collaborated with the developers and certified all architectural documents are consolidated, where users could easily accessible through the new system. Moreover, I created automated workflows for document circulation, reducing manual intervention and maintaining consistency across divisions. To reduce errors and improve communication between various parties, we had regular meetings to discuss progress and adjust expectations as needed. Clear documentation of requirements and changes were also maintained to ensure all stakeholders were on the same page. After the prototypes were created, we used an iterative approach and made adjustments based on user feedback throughout the design process.
