Challenges Faced
One of the key challenges faced was encouraging user adoption that can be difficult, especially for those who were accustomed to traditional desktop workflows and hesitant to transition to mobile. If the app's user interface had been complex, it could have led to confusion and frustration, preventing users from effectively utilizing its features. Furthermore, security was a major concern for most users, as sensitive information accessed on mobile devices could be vulnerable to breaches.
Solutions
To facilitate user adoption, I conducted research on users' daily tasks and performed usability testing through prototyping, ensuring that the app met their expectations before implementation and making the transition smoother for them. I also concentrated on creating an intuitive user interface that simplifies navigation and enhances accessibility, ensuring users can easily find the features they need. For the security concern, I collaborated with the vendor to guarantee the protection of sensitive data and instill user confidence in the app.
